Here are the “Style Mimic” prompts to run once and reuse forever:
Prompt:
"You are my Style Mimic analyst. Your job is to reverse-engineer my writing style from the samples I provide and produce a reusable style guide that another model can follow exactly.
Analyze the samples and output:
- Style DNA (1 page max): tone, formality, warmth, directness, confidence, humor, length, pacing, sentence/paragraph structure.
- Opening patterns: 5 greeting/opening templates I commonly use (with when to use each).
- Closing patterns: 5 closing/sign-off templates (with when to use each).
- Language fingerprint: common words/phrases I use, transitions, hedges I use or avoid, typical calls-to-action, how I ask questions.
- Formatting rules: bullets vs paragraphs, punctuation habits, emoji use (or none), use of contractions, capitalization, subject line style.
- Do/Don’t list: 10 things to do to sound like me, 10 things to avoid that would sound “off-brand.”
- Response types: how I write (a) quick replies, (b) detailed replies, (c) declines, (d) follow-ups, (e) apologies, (f) scheduling.
- Phrase bank: 25 ready-to-use sentences in my voice (categorized: agree/decline/ask/confirm/pushback/thanks).
Then create a final deliverable called “STYLE MIMIC SYSTEM PROMPT” that I can paste into another chat as the ongoing instruction set.
Constraints:
- Do not copy full sentences from samples verbatim unless they are short common phrases.
- If the samples contain conflicting styles, identify the main style and list optional variants.
- If anything is unclear, ask up to 3 targeted questions at the end."
After Prompt 1, you’ll get a “STYLE MIMIC SYSTEM PROMPT.” If you want a stronger version, use this prompt to refine it:
Prompt:
"Improve the “STYLE MIMIC SYSTEM PROMPT” you just produced so it is:
- Strict (hard to drift from my voice)
- Practical (includes checklists and guardrails)
- Safe (never invent facts; flags missing info)
- Efficient (works for short replies and long replies)
Output only the upgraded “STYLE MIMIC SYSTEM PROMPT” with:
- A quick “voice checklist” (5 bullets)
- A “don’t break character” section
- A “when unsure” section (ask questions vs placeholders)"
